A multimedia magazine exploring the political, cultural and social dimensions of Muslim-American life in New York City.  

In addition to interviewing and reporting on Muslim life across the boroughs, my colleagues Ahmed Shihab-Eldin, Tara Kyle and I designed and built the interface for this interactive website. 

'Defining Middle Ground' was awarded the 2008 Webby for Student Website of the Year and submitted as my Masters thesis in New Media at Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism.

A photographic conversation with artist Sally Mann, whose evocative images of landscapes and family have made her one of the most influential living American artists.

This conversation was recorded at Sally Mann's home studio in Lexington, Virginia in January, 2011 as part of a major profile of the artist for NPR's All Things Considered.
